Toy Run 2011

  • Auto Show

    The Toy Run Foundation and Best Buy, Manahawkin hosted an Auto Show for our scholarship fund. Although it was a little chilly, 102 car owners came out to support the event. The Bat moblie, Dinoco of Cars (King Car), Herbie and the "Back to the Future Car graced the occassion along with other car enthusiasts. Thank you for your continued support, thank you to our family, sponsors, frineds and thank you for the help of the Toy Run Staff!!! I also would like to acknowledge Party Crasher Event and Rentals (DJ Mike), Samsung, Comcast Cable, Brownie Troop 265, CarolAnn From the Sunshine Foundation and the Sunshine Foundation for their support.

Toy Run 2010

  • Motorcycle Toy Run
    The Motorcycle Toy run was held on October 3, 2010. Like in the previous years the run statrted at the Southern Regional High School parking lot. Even though it was cloudy and the rain came before we arrived at the end site, it was still a successful day. 641 motorcycles, 829 people, 12 police motorcycles were in attendance. 16 police cars from different agencies were also there for traffic control. 1000+ toys received on that day. Again THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!
  • Toy Sorting and Distribution

    On December 16th at approximately 4:00 pm, members of the Toy Run Foundation, family, frineds and members of the community met at teh St. Mary's Parish Center. We sorted the toys that we raised so needy children will have a smile on their face on Christmas day.

  • Community Medical Center Visit

On December 21st, the members of the Toy Run Foundation along with Santa and Mrs. Claus visited Community Memorial center in Toms River. This is an annual event that we do with hopes that we can bring the spirit of Christmas to those who are in need of care and to those who work there.

 

Toy Run 2009

  • Motorcycle Toy Run

    The Motorcycle Toy Run was held on Oct. 4, 2009. The ride started at the Southern Regional High School parking lot and traveled a 65 miles scenic route. The run ended at the St, Mary's Parish Center where refreshments were served. There were 830 motorcycles, which included the police motorcycle escorts.  There were 1043 people in attendance and over 1200 toys were raised.  Thank you motorcycle riders and members of the community for your continued support.  God Bless!

  • Ming Dynasty Fund Raising Dinner

    On Dec. 7, 2009 held its annual “Working for Tips and Toy Fund raising dinner.  The members of the Toy Run Foundation worked as the servers at the Ming Dynasty on Route 72 Manahawkin.  Fund raising dinner went well! 260+ supporters came - had a great meal and a few laughs. $1811.48 was raised which will be used to purchase toys for special needs kids and more.   • Timmy Blood Boy Scout Troop 42

    On Dec. 8, 2009, Timmy Blood of Waretown NJ and a member of Boy Scout Troop 42 collected toys from his fellow Boy Scouts, friends and family. The toys he collected were donated to the Toy Run Foundation. Timmy is one of our youngest voluteers who collected toys to help bring smiles to the needy kids' faces on Christmas Day.

  • Spotlight Competition Dancers

    The Spotlight Competition Dancers in Tuckerton raised $250.00, which they will use to purchase gifts that will be distributed by the Toy Run Foundation for needy kids.  These special group of kids headed by their “Team Mom” Jennifer Renken - Bevan will shop with the members of the Toy Run Foundation and help distribute them.  Thank you for your continued support!

  • Girl Scouts Toy Drive

On Dec11, 2009 the Girls Scouts of the Jersey Shore, Bayberry Service unit hosted a toy drive for the Toy Run Foundation.  Several Daisies, Brownies, Juniors and Girl Scouts came and gave Santa and Mrs. Claus toys for them to give to a needy child on Christmas Day.  Thank you for your continued support!

On December 14, 2009, the members of the Toy Run Foundation visited Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ with Santa and Mrs. Claus.  They handed toys, stuffed animals and candy canes to the patients and staff.

December 18, 2009 at 4:00 pm; The Toy Run Foundation family, staff, sponsors, supporters, students and friends came to the St. Mary's Parish Center to help sort over 3800 toys.  Everthing was organized based on gender and age in preparation for the toy dsitribution for the following day.  Merry Christmas to all!
